Dragon Birthdays

Came across this page in my little notebook. Compositions for a painting that I never did.

I was inspired by the Harvey exhibition at the Cartoon Art Museum. I used to have hundreds of Richie Rich comics as a kid, though this is the first time I've tried drawing him. I gave him a tiny bit of a gut in the drawing on the right. Those cocktails can pack on the pounds!

Went to Maxfield's (aka The Pied Piper) in the city on sunday. It's pretty cool in there though they served my whiskey sour in a wine glass (???)

Found this in one of my sketchbooks from a year ago. Just one of the bars that Kurt frequents. Apparently there's a back room where one can enjoy a bit of gambling.
