Mothers and Childs 16" x 20" Acrylic on Panel 2010 This is my donation to the Mother Hen Project. It's a great opportunity to own one of my original paintings and to help out a worthy cause. Detail: Photo: The panel is cradled with the edges painted black. It is designed to be hung as is or framed. The Mother Hen Project is an art exhibition and auction to raise much needed funds for Chicks in Crisis . It is featuring over 50 works by artists in the fields of animation, illustration, graphic design and fine art, including a host of directors, animators and designers from Pixar and beyond. The Ancient Book of Sex & Science art show and book release was last weekend and there was a great turn out. I had a great time, and thank you to everyone at Nucleus for the work you did hosting it. Thank you to everyone that came down to the show, it was great meeting all of you. The show will be up through May 28th, 2009. Here's one of my pieces from the show... Mathturbation Acrylic on Panel 18" x 24" Details While I was down for the show I checked out the Marc Davis gallery exhibit at the Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale. I highly recommend going to see this if you can. I was blown away!

I'm thrilled to have been included in the amazing new book coming from Kevin Dart about his character Yuki 7 . What I've seen of the book is incredible and I can't wait to get my hands on it! There will be a gallery show and book release party at Gallery Nucleus on July 3rd at 7pm . The book is going to include some guest art and my contribution to the book is this faux pulp fiction cover. Details... The APE Convention was last weekend in San Francisco and I sat in at Scott's booth to help sell our book (which, by the way is also finally shipping from Amazon). Lou was also there, as was Nate for a few hours. It was amazing fun to sit and draw in everyone's book and meet everone. Here's myself, Lou and Scott at the table... My sister sent me her pictures from the show. Here it is in full swing. Look how packed! I'm being interviewed hehe. for the first hour we were constantly signing books!

Here we are with all the people from Gallery Nucleus! They are so great, and hosted an amazing show! Thank you Nucleus! Wow, I had a great time at the show. Apparently some 800 people attended! I was totally overwhelmed with the turnout and it was so great to meet so many people and see friends I haven't seen in ages. I was exhausted though. I had something to eat at 2pm and then i was on my feet and talking non-stop til midnight. The next day we put on a workshop and it was a lot of fun. I didn't really know what to expect because I have never done or been to something like that but it seemed like everyone liked it and I had a great time. Thank you to everyone...
