I'm moving to a new office space at work and I came across these sketches from Laboratory Still Life 02 . I have some things piling up to post here. Stay tuned.

LAST MINUTE NOTICE... I will be at this year's San Diego Comic-Con on Wednesday preview night, as well as Thursday and Friday (July 22, 23 & 24). I'll be hanging out at RED WINDOW 's booth #4800 where Scott Morse will have a very limited amount of our Ancient Book of Sex & Science for sale! (it's sold out except for the small amount of books that Scott saved for the Con so if you haven't got one yet you better hit that booth first!). YUKI-7 Prints For SALE! I'll have some prints of my Yuki-7 artwork for sale at the amazing FLEET STREET SCANDAL 's booth #1316. There is a very limited amount of these prints too so get them while they're hot! There will be a large print of the raw painting (12"x15") and a smaller print (8"x10") of the painting with the pulp novel graphics. You might also find me hanging around this booth too. And while you are there definitely pick up the new book Seductive Espionage by Kevin Dart and Ada Col...

The Ancient Book of Sex & Science art show and book release was last weekend and there was a great turn out. I had a great time, and thank you to everyone at Nucleus for the work you did hosting it. Thank you to everyone that came down to the show, it was great meeting all of you. The show will be up through May 28th, 2009. Here's one of my pieces from the show... Mathturbation Acrylic on Panel 18" x 24" Details While I was down for the show I checked out the Marc Davis gallery exhibit at the Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale. I highly recommend going to see this if you can. I was blown away!

The gallery show and book release for the Ancient Book of Sex & Science is this Saturday May 16th at Gallery Nucleus at 7:00pm .

The Ancient Book of Sex & Science books are here (250 copies of the total book run made it here on the "fast boat"). Only about 220 copies will be for sale at the Nucleus Gallery show this Saturday so I suggest getting there on time if you want a book.

Sex Fades 18" x 24" Acrylic on Panel Another from the Ancient Book of Sex & Science. I used some molding paste on this one to give it an extreme texture. Laboratory Still Life 02 18" x 24" Acrylic on Panel The deadline for our Ancient Book of Sex & Science is coming up next month and I still have 3 more paintings to finish. I'll be posting the remaining 4 of my images for the book through February.

Laboratory Still Life 01 18" x 24" Acrylic on Panel I'm kind of hopping around between styles as I learn how to work with acrylic paint. This one I tried to go loose and I'm pleased with the colors (though it seems these images look different on every computer I look at them on)

Translumen 01 18" x 24" Acrylic on Panel Work on The Ancient Book of Sex & Science is well under way. I've been painting like crazy and I have 3 new pieces to post. I'll put them up on the blog over the course of the next week. Our deadline is at the end of February so stay tuned to see the rest of my art for this book. All these pieces, along with the book, will be for sale at the Gallery Nucleus show which I believe will be in May.

My image in the print set... Lou's, Nate's, and Scott's pieces (respectively)... At this year's San Diego Comic-Con Scott Morse will be selling an exclusive set of 4 individual prints limited to 50 signed and numbered copies in promotion of our next Ancient Book which is on track to debut at next year's Comic-Con. The book will again be by Lou Romano , Scott Morse , Nate Wragg , and myself. The prints are on high quality fine art paper and will run $50 for all four images. My sister sent me her pictures from the show. Here it is in full swing. Look how packed! I'm being interviewed hehe. for the first hour we were constantly signing books!

Pastel on Hot Press Watercolor Paper 12" x 16" a piece intended for our next book. though this one will most likely be hanging at the myth and war show.
